The Art of Floral Storytelling
As a creative, I thoughtfully curate a vision tailored to each couple. I pride myself on the versatility of my work and my ability to transform an idea into a physical product which then evokes a feeling. I work to not only adorn a wedding day with beauty but to also tell the couple’s story. A feeling that will surely outlive the flowers. Yes, undoubtedly, my understanding of florals, foliage and hand-crafting techniques is important, but even more crucial is my grasp of my r

Clear Eyes, Full Belly, Can't Lose
Wait, that isn't how the saying goes?! Today I had the wonderful opportunity to join the Sacramento Valley Flower Collective at Fully Belly Farms in Guinda. Many of you may be asking where exactly is that? Is that still in California? Basically, it is wayyy out in the boondocks, far, far from a Target store (yes, that is how I judge how "country" a town is) but yes, still in California! I got the chance to finally meet growers and fellow florists who's Instagram accounts I ha

New Year, Improved Bella Nozze!
December 2017 was a whirlwind! There was a wedding, a wreath workshop, a Good Day Sacramento appearance, Christmas, and New Years Eve! Speaking of wind... that wreath workshop was OUTSIDE on the WINDIEST day ever in Sacramento. Beatnik Studios hosted the event and it would have been perfect, minus that dang wind! Did you know studies have proven children are more irritable on windy days? Well, so are adults. Or maybe it's just me... I even helped build that awesome pallet wal

Almost Famous
I'm just going to put this right here... Strictly Weddings did a wonderful feature on a boho chic wedding shoot we participated in and said the sweetest things! Check it out here! Side note: The day we did this, I had to leave early from my little sister's 20th birthday party and rush straight to the shoot. It's summer in Sacramento so it goes without saying how hot it was, but the part I didn't realize was that we could only drive so far into the location site and the rest o

My First Time..
This was my first time ever doing a styled shoot! This styled shoot actually originated from a Craigslist ad! I was looking for mid-century, modern furniture on Craigslist, and I happened to see an ad for a photographer seeking models. I had only recently begun to promote my floral design business, and I decided to reach out to the photographer, Natally of Lumiere Visual Arts, to see if she wanted to collaborate at some point. Thankfully, she did!
Interestingly, I chose to

Plant Parenthood
I have no kids. I have no animals. I have plants. I am a plarent. And proud of it. I don't know where my love of these weird little green things came from but I just can't stand it. They are so cute I could cry. Don't worry, I won't. I cry over much more important things, such as double rainbows... but that's another story. Anyways. During the great Storm of the Century in January, my poor little babies were stuck outside. I was stuck in Bali (life is hard, I know) and I had

Into the Chamber
You're looking at the newest member of the Folsom Chamber of Commerce! Well, you aren't actually looking at me, more like reading... but you know what I mean. I even did my first event for them, their annual awards luncheon. It was held at Lakeside Church in Folsom and was a lot larger than I anticipated! Who knew that many people could take off a couple hours in the middle of the day! I did 40 arrangements and there were 36 tables. That's pretty large in wedding comparison!

Sneak Peek
I was in Tahoe this weekend with a friend who was visiting from New Zealand so I did not have access to a computer, but I just got home and I couldn't wait to share this with you guys! We did a style wedding shoot and I am dying over how it turned out! Stay tuned for more, but until then, here's a sneak peek! Those ghost chairs though! All the feels... #sneakpeek #sacramentoweddingflowers #sacramento #ghostchairssacramento #pantonecoloroftheyear #greenery #romanticwedding #in

Bikini Weather
I was doing a Crossfit class last night in Folsom and I realized, "Oh.my.gosh, it is HOT out." I looked at my phone after the workout for the temperature and realized it was only 70 degrees. Now, 70 degrees is definitely not hot by Sacramento standards BUT, considering we just had like 10 months of rain and hadn't seen the sun in 3 months, it was HOT. This weather reminded me of these cute little potted flowers we did for an event. How can you not celebrate good times?! And a
